"If you are making this bag, chances are that you are a yoga practitioner (or are making it for someone who is). So, I don’t need to overemphasize the point about being present and mindful as you knit. But notice as you knit, that your body and the work form a circle – originating at your heart, passing down each arm and out through your hands – becoming a strong energy symbol. So be mindful of the thoughts that occur to you as you knit, try to focus on loving kindness. In this way the bag may become a capsule containing the energy those thoughts produced. It too completes a circle, made in homage to your love of yoga (or the recipient of the gift)." ~ Fiona Ellis
