Finished Measurements:
31 ins / 79 cm around
11 ½ ins / 29 cm high
Materials:
We used River City Yarns Epic; 191 m / 212 yds per 100g ball, 100% virgin wool.
MC: 500 Royal Red (approx 75g)
Colour A: 100 Ivory (approx 60g)
Colour B: 200 Coal (approx 75g)
Colour C: 700 Harvest (approx 15g)
Note: The cowl is designed to only have colourwork on the outside and regular knitting for the inner layer. If working the cowl in stranded colour work throughout, more yarn may be needed.
Note: River City Yarns Epic Yarn has been discontinued. For substitutions, we recommend Cascade 220 which is also a 100% Peruvian wool, for the closest fibre match. Alternatively, Berroco Ultra Wool or Rowan Pure Wool Worsted would also be good matches if you would like a superwash wool substitution.
Designed exclusively for River City Yarns by Fiona Ellis.
