The Sequoia Brioche Cowl uses two colour brioche stitch for a dramatic striped ribbed effect. Fully reversible with big button accents, this cowl can be multi styled as a cozy cowl, a shoulder warmer or pulled up and worn as a hood. Try a new technique with two colour brioche, or practice an old favourite!
With subtly blended stripes and a soft and beautiful blend of wool and silk, Louisa Harding Amitola Grande is the perfect choice for Sequoia. Grace Akhrem used colourways Obsidian and Mahogany in her Sequoia and we used Elvira and Obsidian in ours.

You will also need:
- Size US 7/4.5mm circular needles, 24in/61cm or longer.
- 1 locking stitch marker.
- Ten 1 1⁄2 in / 4cm buttons (or five buttons, if you don’t want your cowl to be reversible). We used 3 larger 2 inch buttons.
- Sewing needle and thread.
