Designer Grace Akhrem designs with four pillars in mind: Colour, yarn, texture, and fashion. She treats knitting like an art, turning your needles into paintbrushes. With a beautiful collection of patterns ranging from hats and shawls to sweaters and blankets, it's no wonder she was asked to design for Louisa Harding yarns.

The Sequoia Brioche Cowl uses two colour brioche stitch for a dramatic striped ribbed effect. Fully reversible with big button accents, this cowl can be multi styled as a cozy cowl, a shoulder warmer or  pulled up and worn as a hood. Try a new technique with two colour brioche, or practice an old favourite!

With subtly blended stripes and a soft and beautiful blend of wool and silk, Louisa Harding Amitola Grande is the perfect choice for Sequoia.  Grace Akhrem used colourways Obsidian and Mahogany in her Sequoia and we used Elvira and Obsidian in ours.

Note about yarns from our website: Photographs aren't perfect; they don't capture the texture and feel of the yarn. Colours viewed on different monitors may have shade and tone differences from the actual product.
