Portuguese knitting pins are used in the Portuguese style of knitting, which is an alternative way of tensioning yarn and knitting stitches. The pin gets pinned onto your shirt, the yarn is strung through the hook part of the pin and then stitches are made with the flick of a thumb. This method of knitting is more ergonomic because it involves less hand movement.
We like to sell them in pairs or individually so you can knit with more than one yarn or colour at time.
