Nurtured is a natural blend of fine wools (Rambouillet + Targhee + Merino) dyed in the fleece. This worsted yarn is spun by Green Mountain Spinnery. What is dyed in the fleece? The fibers are dyed prior to the yarn being spun resulting in all the different layers of colors blending together producing a heathered look. This yarn has a soft hand, 3 ply construction for strength, woolen spun allowing flexible gauge, great for cables and intricate stitch patterns, and bringing texture to plain stockinette stitch.
Crisp cables are created with Nurtured in Simone by Hilary Smith Callis. This is a statement piece cowl that is made in a construction that starts out as a shawl and ends as a cowl. These large, graphic cables will make your outfit pop. We also love the cropped sweater Nurtured by Andrea Mowry. It uses a honeycomb stitch pattern that is elegant and enjoyable.
