We've put together four custom colour yarn kits for you to make the Harlow Hat by Andrea Mowrey. This fun hat is knit in the round, using brioche stitch; a super stretchy stitch that looks like thick, deep ribbing. When knit with two colours this unisex topper has two completely different looks, and it’s fully reversible too.
Here's what Andrea Mowry from Drea Knits says about her Harlow Hat:
'When I cast on this hat, my intention was to design my ideal, go-to hat pattern. A perfect jumping off point for beginner briochers to try on their newly acquired skills - this hat is great for any gender or age, and the color possibilities are infinite! We all need a dependable hat pattern right?? This is the pattern I know I can depend on for stash busting, wardrobe enhancing, or a quick gift for someone I love!"
Yarn: Andrea recommends fingering or sport weight wools in 2 colours—approximately 30 grams of each. We’ve put together four custom colour kits, each with two contrasting skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Loft (275 yds/50 g). You will have enough yarn in the kit to make one large hat, or two small, or a medium hat with leftovers.
Pattern Details: the Harlow Hat pattern is available for purchase separately from the kit. We offer them separately, in the event you already have the pattern and/or you want to buy more than one kit. If you'd like to add a digital copy of the pattern to your order, include the pattern option in your cart. Add your Ravelry name and/or your email address in the notes section of your order. (Alternatively we will email the pattern to the email address used at checkout.)
The pattern includes instructions on two colour brioche in the round, and video tutorials on two colour tubular cast on OR Twisted german cast on as well as right and left leaning decreases. Yay Andrea!
