Brushed Fleece is a super-soft blend of 65% extra fine merino wool, 30% baby alpaca and 5% polyamide. It boasts a rich colour palette, ranging from muted jewel tones to pretty, natural shades. The yarn has a soft marl colour effect and is quick to knit due to its chunky weight, making it very wearable, cosy and lightweight - perfect for those warming winter knits.
Pattern Suggestions:
With Gallic or Highland flare, a beret or tam is flattering on virtually everyone. Its slightly slouchy shape can be pulled this way and that for style or down over the ears for warmth. Make Studio Beret, a Churchmouse design, with one or two balls of Rowan Brushed Fleece, knit tight on smaller needles.
Knit Belle, a design by Quail Studio using two colours of Brushed Fleece. With a contrasting yoke, stand up neckline and raglan sleeves, this sweater is super soft and easy to wear.
