Like rooibos tea or steamed milk before bed, a hot water bottle quickly becomes a ritual. Sometimes the old ideas are the best—can you think of anything nicer than climbing into a bed that's been readied with a hot water bottle?
Jennifer Evans designed this pretty, practical cozy for Churchmouse Yarns and Teas, and we love the ribbed top and bottom detail along with the fact that it knits up so quickly. Fill your cheerful red rubber bottle with very hot tap water, tuck it between your sheets and turn the thermostat down. No more cold toes! And wouldn’t it make a thoughtful gift?
