"Who knit ya?"
Barb and Cynthia are inviting you to join in on a perfect fall Knit-A-Long (KAL), to "titivate" (to adorn exceedingly fine) the small people in your life. Don't have a small person? No worries... we're donating some of our KAL knits to Basically Babies and Craft for YEG and we encourage you to find a local charity to give to as well.
This KAL is based around the designs in Newfoundland Knits for Little Ones by Katie Noseworthy. We met and interviewed Katie and previewed the designs from her book. Katie's designs are made with growing kids in mind and there is something for everyone in her book. You can see our video visit here: https://youtu.be/bv3fR4q7DiU. We agreed that it would be fun to host a KAL and see which design(s) you choose. It's easy to participate!
Step 1: purchase Katie's book. You can buy Newfoundland Knits for Little Ones directly from her publisher, Boulder Books. Boulder Books has provided a coupon code to give you 10% off (the code is: Yarniversity) AND they have a flat shipping rate ($8 in Canada, $14 in USA). Want to make the shipping even cheaper? Order a copy for a friend!
Step 2: register for the Knit-A-Long here (free).
Barb and Cynthia will be hosting two 60-minute zoom sessions with Katie Noseworthy on September 9 and September 30, starting at 10:00 am PDT, 11:00 am MDT, 12:00 pm CDT, 1:00 pm EDT, 2:00 pm ADT and 2:30 pm in NL. We will record the sessions in case you are unable to come out to the live event.
How ya gettin’ on? Send an email to info@yarniversity.ca if you'd like some yarn advice/recommendations.
