Leizu DK is a luscious yarn, named after the legendary Chinese empress and wife of the Yellow Emperor. According to tradition, she discovered silk, sericulture, and invented the silk loom, in the 27th century BC. This yarn lives up to the name: it's soft, silky and inventive!
This drapey and silky smooth yarn was used by Alicia Plummer in her design Campside Days. This asymmetrical shawl pattern features lace eyelets, ribbing and garter stitch which all shine beautifully in Leizu DK.
Stargazer Shawl by Holli Yeoh is another great pattern for four skeins of this yarn.
